​Jackie has supported the Bill Mudge Residence for well over a decade in various capacities. Her role at the house went far above attending annual events and driving men to and from the prison. Jackie was a part of the home and Bill Mudge family. She supported both the staff and residents with ongoing weekly coffee visits as long as her health permitted her to. She knitted sweaters and tuques for the Director’s kids for Christmas on a regular basis. Her humor and tough-love will be greatly missed. Without a doubt, Jackie was a one of a kind and cannot be replaced. The world of volunteerism lost one of their greatest soldiers. The Laren Society Board of Directors and Bill Mudge Residence staff would like to send our deepest condolences to the Maxfield family.
